How to apply

  1. Register for a Personal Account through the SPbU Admissions Committee website
  2. Fill in an application for admission to the appropriate educational programme
  3. Submit the required documents electronically through your Personal Account
  • an application for admission to an educational programme of the appropriate level in the format established by the Admissions Committee

  • the original or a copy of your educational credential[1] and supplements thereto
  • a copy of your identity document. Please note that the applicant’s passport should be valid for at least 18 months after the beginning of the planned study period. If you need to get a Russian visa please fill in an application form for visa invitation and submit it to Personal Account.
  • 4 (four) photographs 3×4 cm
  1. Pass the competitive selection

  1. Sign a student contract in case of a positive enrollment decision

Please note that all applicants are required to create their Personal Accounts.

In 2019, documents from international applicants to places on the fee-paying (contractual) basis will be accepted from February 1, 2019 to July 6, 2019а


Migration documents are to be submitted upon arrival:

  • a copy of your migration card
  • a copy of your Russian entry visa, if any
  • a signed copy of the «Rules of Stay in the Russian Federation for Non-Russian Citizens»


[1]The educational credentials have to be as follows:

  • legalised if required
  • recognised in the Russian Federation (to have either a recognition certificate or an equivalence certificate if required)
