Dear friends,
St Petersburg University in cooperation with Rossotrudnichestvo opens a new season of the international educational project “Gaining Knowledge at Home”. It consists of a series of free webinars on pedagogy and general school subjects. The aim of the project is to provide methodological support to teachers from Russia and foreign countries and to promote and develop the Russian language all around the world. More than 1100 teachers took part in the first season of the project. They are from 83 countries: Greece, Italy, Czech Republic, Great Britain, Turkey, Armenia, USA, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Russian and others.
In the 2020/2021 academic year the participants will have the opportunity to attend seminars on biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, history, pedagogy and Russian as a foreign language. Webinars on these subjects will be held twice a month, from December to May. Webinars on pedagogy will be held once a month. The participants will be able to ask speakers questions and make suggestions on the topics of the future webinars. You can find the December 2020 timetable here
The participants of the project “Gaining Knowledge at Home” who have attended 75% of lectures or more within one of the topical units, will receive a certificate of St Petersburg University. Lectures on pedagogy or modern strategies of teaching gifted children can be credited as webinars, but not more than three times.
