Your next steps:


Step 1

У вас должен быть включен JavaScript для просмотра. an email with the information whether you need a dormitory for the period of education and the date of arrival to Saint-Petersburg as soon as you have decided on the date of arrival. After receiving your letter, St. Petersburg State University will be sure that you arrive for studying; you will retain your place and reserve your place in the dormitory (if you want to live in a dorm).


Step 2

If you need a visa to enter the territory of the Russian Federation, please wait for the additional message from St. Petersburg State University where will be information about your special visa code and timing of the visa issuing. When you receive a visa code, contact the Embassy / Consulate of the Russian Federation for a visa.


Step 3

Prepare the necessary documents:

• original of educational documents (if necessary legalized and supplemented by notarized translation into Russian);
• originals of medical certificates (the absence of contraindications to education and the absence of HIV infection);
• health insurance for 1 year covering services for outpatient and inpatient care, hospitalization and repatriation. Health insurance can be issued in St. Petersburg;

• 4 photos (size – 3x4).


Step 4

Before August 25th, read the information about to what dormitory you are settled (remind you, that in order to be included in the list of settlement, you must submit to the Admission Office for foreign applicants an email stating the date of arrival), which will be posted on the website of SPbSU. Settlement in the dormitory starts August 25th.


Step 5

Not earlier than August 25th and no later than August 30th, you must arrive at the St. Petersburg State University to study with the original documents. Upon arrival, you can go to a dormitory and after the settlement to come in Admission office for foreign applicants at Vasilevsky Island, Universiteskaya Emb., 13 B. You need to give the original documents (if you are uploading electronic copies of documents to St. Petersburg State University through personal account), complete the necessary forms and get directions to the residence registration. Admission office for foreign applicants operates on weekdays from 10.00 to 18.00.

If for any valid reason (later Visa / no tickets required date / other force majeure), you can not arrive at the dates indicated, immediately inform the Admission office for foreign applicants.

August 31st is a traditional holiday of dedication to the students of the St. Petersburg State University.
