On the website of the University Admissions Committee, there have been published the lists of applicants who are recommended for admission in 2023 based on the results of an Open Competition among Foreign Nationals, Stateless Citizens, and Compatriots Residing Abroad Applying for Admission to St Petersburg University to Government-Funded Places in 2023 within the Framework of the Quota Established by Decree No 2150 of the Government of the Russian Federation dated 18 December 2020.
Before 24 March 2023, the applicants who have successfully passed the competitive selection and are recommended for admission are supposed to send to admission@spbu.ru either an email with a consent to study at St Petersburg University or an email with a refusal to study at the University.

Applicants are enrolled at St Petersburg University on the basis of a reference to study issued by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation within the period established by it. Applications for admission to contractual places for the 2023/24 academic year are accepted from 3 April 2023 by 16 June 2023.
