During her visit to St Petersburg University, the director of the Russian House in Mumbai (Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of India) Elena Remizova met with the senior vice-rector for youth policy and admissions Alexandr Babich and deputy senior vice-rector for youth policy and admissions Alexandr Khurshudyan to discuss areas of cooperation, including the prospects for trilateral cooperation between St Petersburg University, Rossotrudnichestvo, and Indian universities.
Elena Remizova noted the high interest of Indian citizens in educational programmes in the field of medicine, which the University has been implementing not only in Russian, but also in English since academic year 2023/24, offering training in the specialist’s degree programmes "Medicine (in English)" and "Dentistry (in English)" as well as bachelor’s degree programme "Nursing (in English)".
The director of the Russian House in Mumbai and representatives of St Petersburg University have agreed to organise joint career guidance events and implement projects in the field of learning Russian as a foreign language.
